Follow these steps to enable Microsoft Teams notifications for a shared inbox in YakChat.

Step 1: Access the YakChat Admin Portal

1. Log in to the YakChat Admin Portal.
2. Select the user you want to configure.

Step 2: Enable Chat and Teams Notifications

1. Under the Microsoft Teams Notifications section, locate Chat and Teams Notifications.
2. Toggle the setting ON and click Save.
3. Test by sending a message to the shared inbox. Notifications will appear in the Teams Chat and Teams tabs.

Note: If a chat has an owner, they will also receive a pop-up notification in Teams. To assign an owner, go to the app, click the three dots on the chat, and select Assign to me or Assign to user.

Step 1: Access the YakChat Admin Portal

1. Log in to the YakChat Admin Portal.
2. Select the user you want to configure.

Step 2: Enable Activity Feed Notifications

1. Locate Activity Feed Notifications in the same section.
2. Toggle the setting ON and click Save.
3. Send a message to the shared inbox to confirm the notification appears in the Activity feed. Clicking it will take the user directly to the message.

Follow these steps to update settings for multiple users with a shared inbox in YakChat.

Step 1: Access the YakChat Admin Portal

1. Log in to the YakChat Admin Portal.
2. Select the user you want to configure.

Step 2: Update Settings for Multiple Users

1. In the Admin Portal, go to the Users tab.
2. Select the users you want to update.
3. Click the Bulk Action dropdown.
4. Choose the notification type, select Enable or Disable, and click Save.
