Follow these steps to install and pin YakChat in Microsoft Teams.

Step 1: Open Microsoft Teams

1. Launch the Microsoft Teams application.

Step 2: Find the YakChat app

1. In the left panel, click the ellipsis (…) and select More apps, or click the Apps button.
2. In the search bar, type YakChat and press Enter.

Step 3: Add YakChat

1. When the YakChat app tile appears, select it.
2. Click Add to install the app.

Step 4: Grant permissions

1. Once installed, you’ll be prompted to allow YakChat to access Teams.
2. Click Continue to grant permission and integrate YakChat with your Microsoft Teams account.

Step 5: Pin YakChat to your sidebar

1. Right-click the YakChat icon in the Teams sidebar.
2. Select Pin to keep YakChat visible whenever you open Teams.

YakChat is now installed and easily accessible from your Teams sidebar.
