Reconnect the Power Automate connector to V2 configuration

Overview

This article provides instructions on how to reconnect the YakChat Power Automate (V2) connector after your YakChat service has been upgraded to the V2 configuration.  The YakChat Power Automate connector must be updated to the latest (V2) version before connecting to the YakChat V2 configuration.  Please check that the YakChat trigger and actions include the "(V2)" suffix and refer to this article to update your Power Automate flows to use the new YakChat Power Automate (V2) connector.

Updating a YakChat connector to V2 configuration

The YakChat (V2) connector supports all YakChat configurations and can be installed prior to your YakChat service configuration being upgraded to V2.  However, the YakChat (V2) connector needs to be reconnected to the Inbox/Number after the the YakChat service V2 configuration upgrade for your flows to continue to operate using the following steps:
  1. Edit the Power Automate flow
  2. Check the YakChat trigger (or action) includes displays the "(V2) suffix trigger (or action) and if not then refer to this article to update your YakChat Connector to (V2)  
  3. Click on the YakChat trigger (or action) to open the settings window
  4. Re-select the Inbox or Number to send the text from using the From Inbox/Number drop down in the YakChat (V2) action and save the flow
  5. Repeat for each action to ensure the YakChat trigger and every YakChat action has been re-connected to the V2 configuration 
  6. Save the flow
