How to Send a Message to a Contact Group

Overview

Group and organize your contacts using contact groups. Contact groups are designed to hold several contacts so you can keep your contacts book organized, but also so you can send a text to a specific group of contacts quickly.  If you would like to learn how to create and manage contact groups, click here

Messages can be sent to contact groups so that it is quicker and easier to send messages to a large group of contacts. 



Sending a message to a Contact Group

1. Go to the Contacts tab and select the contact group you would like to send a message to. Then click Send message to the group. 
2. Type your message in the Type a message bar, select the inbox the message should be sent from, and send the message. 

This message is not a group message and will be sent to each contact within the contact group individually. Responses from contacts will only be seen by those assigned to the inbox.
