YakChat has simplified viewing contact and conversation information by providing a quick access whilst viewing a conversation to make it more convienient for the user. 

Choose a conversation in the Messages tab and click the ellipses in the top right corner of the conversation. 

This will show a side panel to the right, here you can see information about the contact in this conversation. 

If the conversation is with a number without an existing contact this is another way to quickly add a contact for that number. Click here to learn more about adding contacts.
