How to Translate a Conversation

Overview

The translation feature, available with the Professional Plan only, enables each incoming and outgoing text message to be translated into a different language.

Translating an inbound text message

To translate an inbound text, click on the translate button beside the message to display the translated text below the original text in the message bubble.

The message language is automatically detected and translated to the language that is set in the application or browser. The detected language is also displayed in the right-side panel so that it can be changed if required.



Translating a reply text message

After typing the reply text message, click on the translate button to translate the text to the language that was automatically detected and displayed in the right side panel, and click the send button to send the reply.  



Changing the translation language

Use the right-side panel menu to change the translation language.  Select the desired language in the pop-up window then type your message and click on the translate button to translate the text to the newly selected language.



Translating a new outbound message 

Type your text message in the new message window and click on the translate button.  Select the desired language in the pop-up window, click the Save button and the text will be translated to the selected language.  Click the send button to send the text.
