Step 1: Obtain Your Account SID & Auth Token

1. Log in to your Twilio Console and select the primary account or subaccount you want to integrate with YakChat.
2. In the left panel, expand Builder Tools and choose API Key & creds.
3. Once you're in the API Key & creds section, click on the Auth Tokens tab.
4. Copy the Account SID and Auth Token displayed on the page.
5. Save these credentials for use in Step 3.

Step 2: Select & Configure a Phone Number

1. On the left panel expand the Communications section. Below that, choose Numbers and senders and then Overview.
2. You can either purchase a phone number or search for an existing one that supports SMS and MMS capabilities.
3. On the Phone Numbers tab, click the selected phone number hyperlink to configure it.
   
4. On the Configuration Details tab, click on the Edit configuration details button.

5. In the pop-up, enter the following URL as the webhook for the A Message Comes In field:
   
   https://sp.yakchat.com/twilio/message
   
   Ensure the method is set to HTTP POST.

Tip: Ensure your Twilio number is enabled for SMS and MMS capabilities before proceeding.

Step 3: Submit your connection details

Enter the Twilio connection details into the form below:

1. Select Twilio as the SMS service provider in the integration form.
2. Enter your Account SID in Integration Data 1.
3. Enter your Auth Token in Integration Data 2.
4. Provide the phone number that will be used for testing purposes.
5. Send these details to YakChat at info@yakchat.com.

Once submitted, our team will test the connection and confirm when everything is set up.
