How to Archive a Conversation

Overview

Archiving conversations may be a major requirement for a company that needs to retain a history of conversations. YakChat offers multiple ways to archive your conversations, depending on your use case. 


Email 

Our first method is to enable email notifications for every inbound and outbound text sent for each inbox. Connecting the service to an email address associated with a CRM system will allow your CRM system to archive every inbound / outbound message just like how you would archive regular email conversations with your customers.  


Microsoft Azure Container 

Another convenient method to archive your conversations is to have us connect to your Azure directory, so that we can deposit a container which has all of your conversations for the last month. We will automatically deposit a container each month.

Webhook 

A more convenient method to store your conversation in a CRM system or other web service is to use a webhook. If you provide us with a webhook for your storage service, we will connect to it, and all your conversations.
