How to add YakChat to Webex

Overview

Adding YakChat to Webex chat enables you to send and receive text messages in the same way as chatting to colleagues. 

Step 1: Add YakChat as a Webex Bot

  1. Click on the Search box at the top of Webex and search for YakchatNotify@webex.bot.

Step 2: Authentication

  1. Click on the Authenticate button that is displayed which will open Webex authentication in a browser tab.
  2. Sign-in with your your Webex user credentials.
  3. A Thank You page will be displayed which you can close and go back to Webex.
You are now ready to send and receive SMS text messages using YakChat
