Overview

The messaging app can be added to within any space in Webex using through https://app.yakchat.com/webex. This article guides you how to Create a Space in Webex and how to add YakChar app to it. By adding the app you can use all of the functions of messaging app all within Webex. 

YakChat can be added to a space that you have already created in Webex, or you can add it to a new space. If you already have an existing space in Webex, please proceed with step c.

Creating a Space in Webex and Adding an App

a. Click the add space button next to the search bar, give the space a name, then click create. 

b. Your new space will be displayed in the side panel.

c. In the space you have chosen or created, select the +App button at the top of the space, then click the 'Add a website' tab. 

d. Name the app and type in the website URL my.yakchat.com and click continue.

The App should now be added to the space.
