Overview
Connect YakChat to your SharePoint Contact Lists so that all your contacts are stored in one place.
Find your Sharepoint root site
Click on the +New drop-down menu and select App

Select the "classic experience"
Sharepoint screenshot showing classic experience link A list of classic sharepoint app tiles will be displayed. Select the Contacts App and enter a name for your Contacts list. Then select Create.

Now click Save to add your contact.
After saving your contact, check that your Contacts list is displayed in Sharepoint Contents and that you can open the list and view its contacts.
Go to your YakChat messaging app and select Contacts from the dropdown menu and your new Contact List and contact should be displayed in the contact list. Additional Microsoft authorization maybe required for YakChat to access your Sharepoint site which will require your Microsoft 365 administrator to provide their consent.
