Manage Contact Sources

Overview

YakChat provides access to multiple contact sources to manage your contacts. As a company administrator you can flexibly choose which contact sources you want to enable for your users:

Description
Saved contacts
Enables Personal, Shared and Company contacts 
Company contacts Enables Company contacts
OutlookEnables Outlook contacts
SharepointEnables SharePoint contacts
Entra IDEnables Microsoft Entra ID contacts 


How to enable or disable contact sources 

  1. Login to the Admin Portal as an Administrator
  2. Go to the Plans menu
  3. Find your plan and click the Settings button
  4. Turn on/off the toggle for the relevant contact source as required, see example below:



Notes

  1. By default, all contact sources are enabled.
  2. Contact tabs for the disabled contact sources will not be displayed in the YakChat application.
