Contact Management - Filter and Search Contacts
- Navigate to the Contacts page in the application.
- Select the contact book of your interest:
- Personal — contacts you created for use with your Personal inbox
- Shared — contacts assigned to any of your Shared inboxes
- Company — contacts available to all users in your company
- You can filter all of the above contact books by Tags.
- Open the tags dropdown
- Select the tags you want to filter by
- If you work with multiple shared inboxes, you can also filter your Shared contacts by Inboxes.
- Click on the Inbox filter. By default all of your shared inboxes are selected.
- Choose the inbox you want to focus on
- Navigate to the Contacts page in the application.
- Select the contact book of your interest:
Personal — contacts you created for use with your Personal inbox
Shared — contacts assigned to any of your Shared inboxes
Company — contacts available to all users in your company
Outlook — contacts synced from your Outlook account
SharePoint — contacts pulled from SharePoint contact lists
Entra ID — contacts from Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory)
- In the search bar, type in a name, phone number or email address to find a specific contact.
- If you’ve already applied any filters — like tags or inbox filters — YakChat will only search within those results.
